With a strong presence in multiple regions, Cushman & Wakefield leverages its extensive market expertise and cutting-edge technology to meet the diverse needs of its customers and maintain a strong reputation in the industry.

The role of Porter at Savannah Sound, a multifamily affordable housing community, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of residential properties. The position is primarily responsible for cleaning vacant units in preparation for marketing and occupancy, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of common areas, office spaces, model units, and exterior property areas. Reporting directly to the Resident Manager and Property Manager, the Porter works closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all property areas meet company standards and provide a welcoming environment for residents and prospective tenants.

The Porter is essential in maintaining the property's curb appeal, which includes cleaning driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, and exterior hallways, thereby ensuring a safe and attractive living environment. The role requires the ability to deliver world-class customer service by addressing resident concerns and maintenance requests professionally and in a timely manner. This position also includes responsibilities such as inventory control and adherence to Cushman & Wakefield's safety policies and procedures.

Beyond cleaning duties, the Porter must be proactive about identifying maintenance issues and reporting them to supervisors to facilitate quick resolutions. The work environment is a professional office setting combined with outdoor activities that involve navigating different weather conditions between properties. Physical demands include standing, walking for extended periods, ascending and descending stairs, and occasionally lifting or moving objects up to 25 pounds.

The compensation for this role ranges from $14.45 to $17.00 per hour, with eligibility for various benefit programs including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off. Cushman & Wakefield values inclusive hiring practices, offering accommodations to applicants with disabilities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA).
