The role of the Porter at Mirador at Idlewood is crucial in maintaining the quality and appearance of the multifamily residential property. As a Porter, your primary responsibility will be to clean vacant units preparing them for marketing and occupancy, as well as ensuring that the property’s common areas, office, and model units are kept spotless and presentable. Reporting directly to the Resident Manager and Property Manager, you will also collaborate closely with the maintenance staff to address any upkeep and repair concerns efficiently. This position offers an opportunity to contribute directly to resident satisfaction by preserving the property’s aesthetic appeal and responding promptly to maintenance issues. In this role, you will be expected to clean various areas, including the business office, restrooms, laundry rooms, model apartments, vacant units, and other common spaces on a defined schedule. Your duties will also encompass maintaining the exterior image of the property through tasks such as cleaning driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, exterior hallways, and public areas. This role emphasizes the importance of world-class customer service as you will address residents’ concerns and maintenance needs professionally and courteously. The Porter must also report maintenance problems to supervisors and assist with inventory control. Safety is a key priority, and you will be expected to perform your tasks in compliance with all Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and guidelines. Physical demands include standing, walking for extended periods, and the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds regularly. Since this job requires working both inside and outside, you should be prepared to handle varying weather conditions. The position operates within a professional office environment but also necessitates outdoor mobility between properties.
