The Porter role at Vistas at Vance Jackson is a vital position responsible for ensuring that the property remains clean, safe, and attractive to both current and prospective residents. The Porter cleans vacant apartment units in preparation for occupancy and marketing, as well as the property's common areas such as business offices, restrooms, laundry rooms, and model apartments. This position requires someone who can work independently and as part of a team, reporting directly to the Resident Manager and Property Manager while collaborating closely with the maintenance staff to address any repair or maintenance issues.
This is a full-time role with competitive compensation ranging from $14.88 to $17.51 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The Porter must carry out cleaning routines on a defined schedule and maintain the exterior image of the property, including driveways, parking lots, curbs, and dumpster areas. - Cleans property business office, restrooms, laundry rooms, model apartments, and common areas on a defined schedule
- Cleans vacant apartment units in preparation for showing and occupancy
- Maintains property landscape and exterior areas including driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, and exterior hallways
- Provides world-class customer service by addressing resident concerns and maintenance needs in a friendly and professional manner
- Reports maintenance problems to supervisors
- Assists with inventory control
- Performs duties following safety guidelines and reports obstacles
- Performs other duties as assigned
