Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- dependable and hard-working
- previous experience in a maintenance or related role
- ability to work Monday through Friday
- physically able to perform labor-intensive tasks
- ability to follow safety guidelines
- valid identification and authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- experience in maintenance, make ready, porter, handyman, remodeling, or general labor
- ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting tasks
- strong troubleshooting and repair skills for common apartment issues
- good communication and teamwork skills
- motivated team player
- ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- basic appliance repair and installation knowledge
Job Duties
- ensure all vacant apartments are fully restored to make ready status for new resident move-in
- perform basic maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting
- troubleshoot and repair items such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors
- assist with the exterior upkeep of buildings and community grounds
- help maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the property
- diagnose and assist with appliance repair, troubleshooting, and installation
- prioritize daily workload and coordinate with the property manager as needed
- support the maintenance team with additional porter, make ready, and general property duties as assigned
