The Porter role at TC Restaurant Group is a part-time position crucial for maintaining the overall cleanliness, organization, and sanitary conditions of the dining rooms, rooftops, and back of house areas. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and move steadily throughout a shift, work in varying indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to different temperatures, and perform physical tasks like lifting, bending, and climbing. Flexibility in shifts is necessary, including working evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, potentially exceeding 30 hours weekly. Job Requirements

  • 18+ years of age
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift
  • Ability to withstand high and low temperature exposures
  • Ability to perform tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
  • Ability to work in noisy or small access areas
  • Ability to work shifts exceeding 30 hours per week including overtime when approved by management
  • Constant contact with guests and team members

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to access and operate business applications for communication such as email, chat, or text messaging
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
  • Ability to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player

Job Duties

  • Sweep and mop floors in assigned areas
  • Clean and sanitize equipment in assigned areas
  • Monitor, clean, and empty trash cans
  • Collect debris such as cups, cans, and flatware
  • Ensure all floors are clean of debris and trash
  • Complete all housekeeping tasks as directed by Management
  • Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
