The open Dish Machine Operator position is an integral role within the team at Le Pain Quotidien. This role safeguards the cleanliness and functionality of the dishwashing area, ensuring all kitchenware, utensils, baskets, and crates meet the highest standards of sanitation. Along with operating dishwashing machines safely and efficiently, the operator helps maintain an organized and well-kept kitchen environment by assisting with inventory management, basic food prep, and general cleaning duties. The role demands attention to detail, a willingness to support the team through various tasks, and the ability to follow established cleaning protocols and safety standards.
This part-time or full-time hourly position offers competitive pay ranging between $14.00 and $18.00 per hour plus tips when eligible. Job Duties
- Load dish machine safely and efficiently
- operate dish machine
- unload dish machine
- keep dish machine and sinks clean
- report any functional or mechanical problems
- wash and store kitchenware, baskets, and crates
- maintain adequate levels of detergents and cleaning supplies
- properly label, replenish and store chemicals
- put away deliveries or orders
- ensure refrigerators and freezers are clean, organized, and maintained
- maintain adequate levels of clean small wares, equipment and tools
- assist with basic food preparation according to checklists
- complete opening, mid, and closing procedures
- follow cleaning checklists to keep restaurant areas clean and organized
