Job Description

This part-time Line Cook role is an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals seeking to enhance their skills while joining a dynamic and forward-moving company. The successful candidate will work closely with other kitchen staff to prepare food that meets Four Corners’ high standards. Duties include following standardized recipes precisely, maintaining strict food safety and sanitation protocols, assisting colleagues during peak periods, and ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of their workstations. As part of the team, the Line Cook will also be instrumental in plating dishes for service, regulating cooking temperatures, and adhering to all instructions and standards communicated by the Chef. This role offers a starting wage of $16.60 per hour plus additional benefits that underscore Four Corners’ commitment to its employees’ well-being and development. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • able to follow detailed instructions and recipes
  • strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work effectively under pressure during rush periods
  • capable of maintaining cleanliness and organization of work stations
  • must possess good communication skills
  • availability for evening shifts

Job Duties

  • Carefully follows standard recipes while preparing assigned items for food service
  • consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • assists other cooks during emergencies or rush periods
  • inspect and clean food preparation areas such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
  • assists in plating food items for service
  • cleans assigned work station areas
  • ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens broilers grills and roasters
  • carefully follows instructions and procedures set and communicated by Chef
