The Porter position at TC Restaurants plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of dining rooms, rooftops, and back-of-house areas across their various venues. This role ensures that every guest experiences a clean and inviting atmosphere by adhering strictly to sanitation and company standards. Porters at TC Restaurants handle a variety of daily responsibilities that require attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork. Responsibilities include sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, monitoring and emptying trash cans, collecting debris such as cups and flatware, and ensuring floors and designated areas are free of trash and clutter. Additionally, Porters support management by completing housekeeping tasks and adhering to safety, health, and environmental policies.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds and perform tasks involving bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching. Employees will also need to engage constantly with guests and fellow team members, working varied shifts that may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime where approved by management. Job Requirements

  • 18 plus years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift
  • Work will include indoor and/or outdoor areas
  • ability to withstand high and low temperatures
  • Work environment may be unusually hot, cold, noisy
  • ability to work in small areas with 3 ft access
  • Tasks performed from non-sitting and sitting positions
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 20 pounds

  • Constant contact with guests and team members
  • Schedule could exceed 30 hours per week and include overtime when approved
  • Work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays
  • Ability to be exposed to nightlife environmental factors including second-hand smoke, excessive noise, strobe lights, and stress related to guest interactions

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Sweep and mop floors in assigned areas
  • Clean and sanitize equipment in assigned areas
  • Monitor, clean, and empty trash cans
  • Collect debris such as cups, cans, and flatware
  • Ensure all floors are clean of debris and trash
  • Complete all housekeeping tasks as directed by management
  • Adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
