Job Description

Two Coast Living is a renowned property management company committed to delivering high-quality living experiences to its residents. Specializing in multifamily housing communities, Two Coast Living emphasizes maintaining safe, clean, and attractive environments that residents are proud to call home. With a dedication to excellence and community engagement, the company fosters a culture of respect, integrity, and professionalism among its team members. Two Coast Living offers a full-time employment opportunity with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and career growth of its employees.

The role of Porter/Groundskeeper is pivotal in sustaining the aesthetic and functional quality of the residential communities managed by Two Coast Living. Responsible for the upkeep of both interior and exterior communal spaces, the Porter/Groundskeeper ensures areas such as lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, recreation zones, fountains, business centers, parking lots, and refuse areas are maintained to the company’s high standards of cleanliness and safety. While prior experience in janitorial or groundskeeping roles is beneficial, Two Coast Living provides thorough training to guide new hires in performing their duties effectively. Daily responsibilities include removing trash and refuse from property grounds, maintaining landscaped areas and watering plants as needed, and conducting scheduled maintenance tasks in common areas.

This full-time role typically operates Monday through Friday, with scheduling adjustments during high-traffic holiday seasons as approved by supervisors. Two Coast Living values a safety-first approach, emphasizing the importance of both resident and employee safety in all activities. Employees in this position interact regularly with residents, providing support and contributing positively to the community atmosphere with a friendly and professional demeanor. The company fosters a work environment that encourages punctuality, responsibility, and communication skills.

The Porter/Groundskeeper position offers a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance options, as well as auto-enrollment in a 401(k) savings plan after 60 days. New employees begin accruing vacation time immediately and earn paid sick leave in accordance with state requirements. Eligible team members may also receive holiday pay for six designated holidays annually. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions, involving frequent lifting, standing, walking, and manual tasks vital to property maintenance.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Two Coast Living as a Porter/Groundskeeper, contributing directly to the quality of life for residents and the overall success of the property management team. The company is committed to equal employment opportunities and encourages qualified applicants from diverse backgrounds, including those with criminal histories in compliance with local hiring ordinances.
