Job Description

Culver's is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain celebrated for its commitment to quality, exceptional customer service, and community-oriented approach. As a leader in the quick-service food industry, Culver's prides itself on delivering an outstanding dining experience that features fresh, high-quality ingredients and friendly, efficient service. Each Culver's location operates with a focus on maintaining a welcoming environment for guests while fostering a positive workplace for team members. The company’s values emphasize teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement, making it a sought-after place to work for those passionate about the food service industry.

The Porter/Maintenance Technician role at Culver's is pivotal to the smooth operation and overall guest satisfaction within the restaurant. This position requires a dedicated individual responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of both the interior and exterior of the restaurant premises. Porters are tasked with ensuring that every area of the establishment meets Culver's high standards, from spotless dining and kitchen areas to well-maintained landscaping and exterior grounds.

Beyond routine cleaning, this role involves supporting the kitchen by managing inventory and food storage, including receiving food orders, stocking, and rotating items to ensure freshness and compliance with health standards. The Maintenance Technician aspect of the role entails performing scheduled upkeep and repairs on restaurant equipment to prevent downtime and maintain smooth operational flow. This function demands a hands-on approach, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively to resolve maintenance issues promptly.

Working as a Porter/Maintenance Technician at Culver's means starting the day by contributing directly to the guest experience – opening the doors, prepping the space, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that aligns with Culver's brand promise. Team members in this role collaborate closely with others, balancing independent tasks with cooperative efforts to keep the restaurant running efficiently. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy routine tasks but also thrive when problem-solving and taking initiative.

Culver's supports its employees with competitive wages, comprehensive on-the-job training, and benefits designed to promote career growth and job satisfaction. Staff receive free uniforms and meals, helping create a supportive and enjoyable work environment. For those who are reliable, hardworking, and have a strong work ethic, Culver's offers excellent opportunities to advance within the company.

This position is more than just maintenance — it is integral to creating the unique Culver's experience that keeps guests coming back. By ensuring every detail is perfect, Porter/Maintenance Technicians help Culver's uphold its reputation for quality and care. If you are someone who enjoys contributing behind the scenes to a vibrant, guest-centered operation, this role offers both challenge and reward in equal measure.
