This job posting is for an immediate opening at The Scion Group for the position of Porter/Gatekeeper, a vital role responsible for maintaining and enhancing the quality and functionality of common areas within residential properties managed by the company. This is a full-time position primarily focused on ensuring that outdoor and indoor common spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained to enhance residents' living experience and uphold The Scion Group's standards. The Porter/Gatekeeper will undertake a variety of physically demanding tasks ranging from trash removal, landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and seasonal planting installations, to minor repairs and maintenance work including pool cleaning and irrigation system upkeep.

In addition to maintenance, this role demands a high level of safety awareness and the ability to respond promptly to emergency procedures related to the property infrastructure. The individual must be proactive, attentive to detail, organized, and possess a strong sense of responsibility to maintain the aesthetic and operational standards expected by both residents and The Scion Group management. The position requires standing for extended periods and the capability to lift heavy objects safely as part of daily tasks.

The Porter/Gatekeeper will also be expected to work in a collaborative, collegiate work environment, providing courteous and respectful interactions with residents and visitors. Being on-call (excluding paid time off) to address urgent situations after hours or weekends is part of the job expectations, reflecting the company's commitment to maintaining a high standard of living and safety at all times.
