Job Description
The Scion Group LLC is a nationally recognized real estate investment, development, and management company with a strong reputation for delivering quality residential properties across the United States. Known for its commitment to excellence and community-focused approach, The Scion Group provides a dynamic and inclusive work environment where employees are valued and supported. The company operates multiple residential properties and manages all aspects of property maintenance and tenant satisfaction with a focus on safety, quality, and professionalism. They are currently hiring immediately for the position of Porter/Gatekeeper at one of their residential property locations. This role is a vital part of their property management team, ensuring that common areas are clean, well-maintained, and safe for residents and visitors.
As a Porter/Gatekeeper with The Scion Group, you will be entrusted with the care and maintenance of the property's common areas, both indoors and outdoors. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness by removing debris, performing routine maintenance, assisting with lawn and garden care, and ensuring that safety standards are upheld throughout the property. This position offers a hands-on, physically demanding role ideal for candidates who take pride in their work and have a strong attention to detail. You will also assist with seasonal landscaping tasks such as trimming, pruning, and planting, as well as special maintenance duties like pool cleaning and emergency system checks.
This customer-centric position requires a professional attitude, initiative, and the ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team setting. The Scion Group values employees who demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and the flexibility to work occasional after-hours or weekend shifts as needed. In return, you will be part of a well-established company that fosters career growth and offers a stable, rewarding work environment. This is a full-time opportunity based at the assigned property location where you will serve mainly in an "on-call" capacity, except during approved paid time off periods.
The Scion Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, providing equal employment opportunities without discrimination. While they welcome candidates eligible to work in the United States, they do not sponsor work visas. This role is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and safety of a residential community while developing your skills in property maintenance and customer service.
