Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of banquet, catering, or food service porter experience
- Ability to work full-time with open availability including weekends
- Ability to safely lift heavy items
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year of banquet, catering, or food service porter experience
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items safely
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to teamwork and customer service
Job Duties
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all front-of-house areas including tables, counters, floors, windows and beverage stations
- Busses, clears, and cleans tables and floors during peak service times and prepares areas prior to service
- Follows safety procedures when transporting dishes and utensils to kitchen
- Washes dishes, glasses, pots and cleans cooking stations and equipment to maintain sanitation
- Scrapes and rinses food from dishes and operates dishwashing machines as necessary
- Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris ensuring compliance with sanitation standards
- Assists in receiving and transporting heavy deliveries to storage areas following safe lifting standards
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- Adheres to all safety policies including the use of protective gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes
- Performs other duties as assigned
