We are currently seeking passionate and reliable individuals to join our Food Production team in the role of Porter/Dishwasher on a part-time basis with rotating shifts. This position plays a vital role in supporting hospital food services by ensuring timely delivery of meals and beverages across various departments including the Cheer cupboard, Trailer, and Gengras Cafeteria. The Porter/Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and dining equipment, effectively managing waste removal processes, and supporting workflow efficiency by supplying clean trays, dishes, flatware, and food items as needed.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 75 pounds, handling carts, and working in a fast-paced environment that involves exposure to heat, cleaning chemicals, and noise. The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions in English is essential, as well as a commitment to upholding Saint Francis Hospital's standards for food safety and hygiene. Beyond routine responsibilities, the Porter/Dishwasher contributes to the overall excellent operation of the food service department, ensuring patients, visitors, and staff receive quality food and beverage service in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.
