This position is responsible for the efficient delivery of food to various hospital areas such as the Cheer cupboard, Trailer, and Gengras Cafeteria. The role includes preparing and serving hot beverages, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of floors and equipment, and supplying clean trays, dishes, flatware, and food items to the department. The position also involves removing trash and managing coffee carts, ensuring that all assigned areas remain orderly and well-stocked. Working in this role requires physical stamina as the job involves standing, walking, pushing, and pulling carts, and lifting items up to seventy-five pounds. Employees in this role must adhere to all safety and hygiene guidelines while operating in a fast-paced food service environment that may involve exposure to heat, steam, cleaning chemicals, and varying temperatures.
