The role of the Porter is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment for both employees and customers. This position is geared toward those who value safety and cleanliness and who demonstrate dependability in routine maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include sweeping and mopping shop bays after they are emptied, washing and detailing commercial trucks to ensure they present well for customers, and emptying trashcans both inside and outside of the facility. The Porter assists technicians by cleaning up waste and oil spills to prevent accidents and maintain operational safety. Proper disposal of used engine fluids, filters, and air cleaners is a critical duty, along with sorting and removal of recyclable materials such as steel and aluminum. The position requires a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to support responsibilities such as delivering customers to their homes or offices and transporting customer trucks when necessary.

Job Requirements
- High school education or general education degree (GED)
- three months’ experience
- possession of current and valid CDL with a driving record that meets insurability guidelines
- ability to use hand tools and air impact wrench
- certified forklift operator within 90 days
- knowledge of hazardous and non-hazardous material disposal
- must be at least 18 years old to operate forklift
