Job Description

Gracious Hospitality Management is a renowned hospitality company recognized for its high standards and award-winning service in the restaurant industry. This esteemed company is expanding its operations with one of their most ambitious projects to date, located at 550 Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York. The new dining destination covers a stunning 15,000 square feet across multiple levels inside the iconic Sony building, which marks a significant milestone in Gracious Hospitality's growth and presence in the city's vibrant culinary scene.

The 550 Madison project is a unique culinary concept that combines three distinct dining experiences, each reflecting an exceptional level of quality and innovation. It features the second New York location of the Michelin-starred COTE Korean Steakhouse, known for its expertly crafted Korean BBQ and impeccable service. Alongside COTE, guests will find Chimera, an all-day multi-bar and dining concept offering a dynamic atmosphere for casual and refined dining occasions. Completing the trio is Sushi Yoshitake, an intimate sushi restaurant led by Michelin-starred Chef Masahiro Yoshitake, promising an extraordinary sushi experience crafted with precision and artistry. This visionary project was designed by the acclaimed Rockwell Group, with collaborative input from Yoshio Itai on the sushi concept, ensuring an immersive and transportive dining setting for patrons.

As the company prepares for the grand opening of 550 Madison in Spring 2026, Gracious Hospitality Management is actively seeking dynamic and experienced team members across all departments, including kitchen, service, and support roles. The company offers comprehensive on-site training for qualified candidates, ensuring that new hires are fully equipped to maintain the high standards expected at their venues. The positions available range from line cooks, prep cooks, and pastry cooks to servers, host staff, and porters, reflecting the companys commitment to building a cohesive and talented team.

A key aspect of the hiring process includes resume screening, open call interview events, and a training phase leading up to the restaurant's opening. New hires will engage in pre-opening friends and family service days, gaining valuable hands-on experience before the full transition into daily operations. Importantly, Gracious Hospitality Management values a welcoming and professional culture aligned with core company values such as people development, learning, sustainability, and stewardship.

The 550 Madison project offers an exceptional employment opportunity for hospitality professionals eager to join a forward-thinking, award-winning management team. Employees can expect competitive compensation with pay ranging from $20 to $25 per hour, alongside a generous benefits package. The company encourages applicants with a strong passion for hospitality and a positive, team-oriented attitude to participate in the upcoming open call hiring event scheduled for April 28, 2026, at 550 Madison Avenue.
