This role of Porter at Asset Living provides a critical support function within the property management team, helping to maintain the physical condition and curb appeal of residential communities. The Porter assists with carrying out routine, corrective, preventative, and cosmetic maintenance tasks under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. Responsibilities include cleaning, trash removal, maintaining grounds and building common areas, and responding promptly to resident and management service requests. Through daily inspections, the Porter identifies hazards and helps implement safety measures to maintain a secure living environment.

The position demands regular on-site presence, physical labor including the moving and lifting of heavy objects, and involvement in maintenance operations that sustain the property's appearance and function. The Porter plays an important role in reinforcing the community’s policies and ensuring the amenities and shared spaces remain inviting and safe. Asset Living offers comprehensive training and instills a strong focus on safety standards, such as OSHA compliance and Fair Housing Laws. This position is designed for individuals committed to delivering excellent customer service while supporting property upkeep and community living standards.

Asset Living is committed to offering competitive compensation based on each candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications. The hourly pay for this role is $15 per hour. The total rewards package includes medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance; a 401K retirement plan with employer matching; and eligibility for commissions and performance bonuses when applicable.
