The position of Porter is a key role within Asset Living’s property management team. The Porter plays an essential part in maintaining the aesthetics, safety, and functionality of the community by supporting the maintenance and make-ready processes. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, the Porter is responsible for a wide range of maintenance duties that include corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic tasks. This role ensures that the property is clean, safe, and attractive to residents while contributing to the overall operational objectives of the community.

Porters have a hands-on role in performing regular cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of both the indoor and outdoor common areas, buildings, grounds, and breezeways. They respond promptly to resident and management requests relating to maintenance issues in community spaces or individual units. A significant component of the job is conducting daily inspections to identify hazards or property concerns that could pose liability risks. The Porter also assists in maintaining an organized and well-stocked maintenance shop adhering to safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $18 to $20, complemented by Asset Living’s comprehensive total rewards package.
