The Porter position at BH Management plays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of the property's exterior grounds and common areas, as well as the interior common spaces. This role requires a dedicated and service-oriented individual who takes pride in upholding the company's high standards for property maintenance and customer service. The Porter contributes to creating a welcoming and well-kept environment that reflects BH's commitment to quality and professionalism.

Candidates for this role will be responsible for a broad range of duties that involve maintaining the landscaping, parking lots, sidewalks, driveways, gutters, and common facility areas such as trash chutes and compactors. The Porter may also assist with cleaning around the pool area and organizing workspaces and maintenance shops, ensuring these areas remain orderly and efficient. This position requires someone capable of handling physical labor, operating various maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively. The work schedule typically spans Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime and participation in an on-call rotation to address business needs, including emergencies or planned maintenance outside of normal hours.

Applicants should have some prior knowledge or experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, general janitorial or maintenance work, and a working knowledge of basic maintenance tools and cleaning equipment. Basic computer skills are also necessary for communication and documentation purposes. Physically, the role requires lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, extensive movement such as walking, bending, stooping, crawling, climbing stairs, and the ability to work outside in varying weather conditions.
