Job Description
Crash Champions is one of the fastest-growing and most exciting brands in the automotive collision repair industry. Established in 1999 in Chicago by industry veteran Matt Ebert, who was honored with the 2023 EY Entrepreneur of the Year Midwest award, Crash Champions has evolved into the largest founder-led multi-shop operator (MSO) providing high-quality collision repair services in the U.S. With a footprint of over 650 state-of-the-art locations across 38 states, the company is a leader in delivering superior vehicle repair and restoration experiences. They also operate the thriving Crash Champions LUXE | EV Certified brand, focusing on highline and luxury electric vehicle repairs, keeping pace with the growing shift toward eco-friendly transportation solutions. The company’s philosophy centers on People First, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to both its customers and employees. Crash Champions’ dynamic growth and innovative approach have positioned it as a powerhouse in the collision repair sector, attracting professionals passionate about automotive care and customer service excellence.
The Porter role at Crash Champions is a crucial position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the repair facility. This is a full-time, regular role located at 1052 NJ-10, postal code 07869, offering competitive pay ranging from $15.49 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. The Porter will ensure that the building floors are clean through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming, while keeping restrooms serviced, clean, and well-stocked. Additionally, this position involves cleaning windows, glass, and mirrors, as well as managing trash disposal to maintain a spotless and efficient working environment. Occasionally, the Porter may support customer routing duties, assisting with directing customers to the appropriate service areas.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a reliable work history and an ability to work well in a team environment while receiving direction effectively. Prior automotive industry experience, although not required, is preferred, providing candidates with additional exposure to the operational heart of collision repair centers. This role demands a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a thorough background check, ensuring the safety and integrity of Crash Champions’ facilities and clientele.
Working at Crash Champions offers more than just employment; it is an opportunity to join a people-driven culture that values every team member’s contribution. The company backs this up by offering comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, group life and disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with matching contributions, referral bonuses under the "Cash From Crash" program, and paid holidays. These benefits, along with ongoing career development opportunities, reflect the company's commitment to nourishing its workforce and fostering long-term relationships. Joining Crash Champions means becoming part of a forward-thinking company where your work supports an industry leader committed to excellence in collision repair services and employee well-being.
