Job Description

The dealership is a well-established automotive business dedicated to providing customers with quality vehicles and exceptional service. Known for its comprehensive range of new and pre-owned cars, the dealership prides itself on creating a trustworthy and friendly environment for both clients and employees. The company's commitment to excellence extends beyond just sales; it involves maintaining a pristine and orderly lot of vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction from the moment a potential buyer steps onto the premises to the final vehicle delivery.

This role is an essential part of the dealership's daily operations, focusing on the physical management and care of the vehicles within the lot. The position is suited for reliable individuals who are competent drivers, able to handle manual transmission cars, and are attentive to the upkeep and organization of the lot. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in facilitating smooth vehicle movement between different areas such as the display spaces, workshop, storage facilities, and customer pick-up points. This is an on-site, full-time employment opportunity that values responsibility, cleanliness, and mechanical diligence.

As a lot driver at the dealership, you will be entrusted with multiple responsibilities aimed at optimizing the presentation and readiness of the vehicles. Your primary duty will be to move cars safely around the property, ensuring they reach their designated locations without damage. This requires a strong sense of spatial awareness and careful handling. Additionally, you will be responsible for routine maintenance tasks to keep the cars in excellent condition, including checking and changing batteries, and refilling gas, oil, and other essential fluids. These tasks not only extend the life of the vehicles but also enhance the customer experience by ensuring all vehicles on display are in top operating condition.

Moreover, maintaining the cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of each car is a fundamental part of your daily duties. A clean vehicle greatly influences customer perception and the overall impression of the dealership. You will also assist in keeping the entire lot clean and tidy, contributing to a professional and inviting atmosphere for visitors and staff members alike.

From time to time, you will be required to drive off-site to run errands that support the dealership's operational needs, which means having a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record is critical. The role demands flexibility, as you may be called upon to perform additional tasks as requested by the Lot Manager. This position provides a dynamic work environment ideal for individuals who enjoy working with vehicles, have a proactive attitude, and take pride in their work. The dealership offers a supportive team environment with a focus on growth and continuous improvement, making it a desirable place to advance your career in the automotive industry.
