This full-time position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual responsible for cleaning and polishing lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, metalwork, and other furnishings across common areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and lounges. The Porter will also handle routine maintenance duties like replenishing bathroom supplies and replacing light bulbs. Apart from cleaning, the role includes logistical tasks such as delivering messages, transporting waste and equipment between departments, and preparing vacant apartments for new residents. The position demands adherence to safety protocols and responsiveness to resident requests as directed by the Resident Manager. Additionally, the Porter may be required to drive to local areas, company meetings, and sister properties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a reliable work ethic. Daily communication through email review and timely responses within 24 hours are expected to maintain smooth operations and foster effective team coordination. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim
  • cleans all common areas including rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, laundry centers, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, baseboards, and other work areas
  • sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors
  • cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using cleaning and extracting machines
  • dusts furniture and equipment
  • polishes metalwork
  • washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork
  • washes windows, door panels, and sills
  • empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays
  • transports trash and waste to disposal area
  • replenishes bathroom supplies
  • replaces light bulbs
  • keeps patio furniture orderly and patio area clean including ashtrays and trash cans
  • delivers messages
  • transports small equipment or tools between departments
  • sets up tables and chairs in auditorium or hall
  • prepares vacant apartments for move-in by new residents and completes resident requests for service as directed by Resident Manager
  • drives to local areas, company meetings, and sister properties when necessary
  • daily review of all emails and respond as necessary within 24 hours
  • perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or requested to meet operational needs
