With close to 5,000 units under management, the company is dedicated to enhancing the value and livability of its properties through thoughtful capital improvements, efficient management strategies, and meticulous attention to detail. CSC Management is passionate about creating safe, vibrant, and welcoming communities for tenants, reflecting a commitment to quality and service that underpins their reputation in the multifamily housing industry.

The company holds a strong commitment to equal employment opportunity, ensuring non-discrimination based on veteran status, marital status, military status, race, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or national origin. CSC Management fosters an inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and supports the growth and development of its employees.

The Porter role at CSC Management is a full-time position responsible for maintaining the general upkeep of the company’s multifamily properties. This role is integral to sustaining the aesthetics and safety of the communities that CSC manages. The Porter is expected to perform a variety of groundskeeping and maintenance tasks, including surface cleaning, removal of trash and debris from public areas, and landscaping activities such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and clearing snow and ice. Additionally, the position includes preparing vacant apartments for new tenants (make readies), performing minor repairs such as painting, changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and restocking cleaning supplies.

Competitive compensation for this position ranges from $15.00 to $16.50 per hour. Along with competitive pay, CSC Management offers a comprehensive benefits package aimed at supporting the well-being and career growth of its employees. Benefits include healthcare coverage, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and holidays, a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, performance bonus programs, housing discounts, and on-going training to enhance employees’ skills and career opportunities within the company.

This role demands a candidate with physical stamina and strength capable of handling manual labor tasks consistently. Candidates should be capable of working independently, prioritizing daily tasks effectively, and demonstrating excellent problem-solving and communication skills to contribute positively to the maintenance team and the overall tenant experience. Holding a valid driver’s license and having reliable transportation are essential to fulfilling this position’s responsibilities efficiently.

Joining CSC Management as a Porter offers not only an opportunity to engage in meaningful hands-on work that directly impacts community quality but also to advance within a growing company dedicated to personal and professional development.
