Job Description

RV Country is the top-rated RV dealership in the nation, proudly recognized as the People's Choice for Best RV Dealer and certified as an Amazing Workplace. With a robust legacy spanning over 60 years, RV Country has steadily expanded its footprint to 13 locations across Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, and California, supported by a dedicated team of over 350 professionals committed to excellence and customer satisfaction. As a company, RV Country goes beyond just selling recreational vehicles; it actively fosters a vibrant community that focuses on making a tangible difference in the lives of both customers and employees through outstanding service and a welcoming culture.

The Porter/Forklift Operator role at RV Country is a pivotal position responsible for safely moving RV units across the dealership property. This role demands a high level of responsibility, attentiveness, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure smooth operations on the lot. The individual in this position will be entrusted with the care and precise handling of RV units, ranging from trade-ins to new customer deliveries, ensuring they are strategically staged and moved around the property efficiently. The job is integral to the operational success at RV Country, as it supports various departments including sales, service, and detail, by coordinating the movement and staging of RV inventory. This fosters an organized and safe environment conducive to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will be tasked with following detailed instructions related to forklift operation, including moving trade-ins and customer units inside the dealership's secure gates, transporting units to and from the detail shop, and organizing new units by brand in a manner that maximizes lot space. Attention to staging vehicles in neat rows with proper spacing is essential to maintain an orderly presentation and inventory management system. Alongside logistics, this role involves maintaining the cleanliness and order not only of the RV inventory but also of the dealership lot and company property. Reporting any damages observed on units to the Sales Manager or Service Manager is a critical responsibility, thereby helping maintain the quality and reputation of RV Country's offerings.

Candidates will find this opportunity rewarding not only because of the company's stellar reputation but also due to the inclusive culture and comprehensive benefits package that supports employee well-being. RV Country encourages professional growth, adaptability, and continuous learning to meet changing priorities, creating a dynamic workplace environment. This is a full-time employment opportunity, ideal for individuals who are dependable, attentive to detail, and committed to safety and quality in every aspect of their work.
