The Porter position at CHI plays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of the facility, particularly in the Eastchester neighborhood Bronx, New York. The opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $19.24 per hour, approximately $40,000 annually, and is designated as a non-exempt position eligible for overtime. The work schedule is flexible with shifts available from 4pm to 12am Sunday through Thursday (with Friday and Saturday off), 12am to 8am Tuesday through Saturday (with Sunday and Monday off), and 8am to 4pm Sunday through Thursday (with Friday and Saturday off), catering to varying availability and preferences.

The Porter job encompasses daily maintenance tasks crucial for the smooth operation of the facility. Responsibilities include thorough trash removal, supporting front lobby operations, and performing sweeping, cleaning, and mopping of rooms and communal areas as required.
