We are currently seeking a reliable and efficient Daytime Kitchen Crew member to join our team. This role specifically pertains to the Porter position, which is critical in ensuring that the restaurant is fully prepared to open each day. The key responsibilities include maintaining sanitation standards, performing general maintenance, and supporting the kitchen and dining areas inside and out. This position requires someone who is resourceful, dependable, and capable of working independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently. The role is daytime, Monday through Friday, designed to ensure readiness for peak lunch service by completing essential tasks by 10:30 AM. This position offers a dynamic working environment, balancing duties between indoor and outdoor settings, and demands physical activity such as lifting, climbing, and cleaning. The Porter is an essential member of the opening team, facilitating a smooth start to each business day and contributing directly to the guest experience and overall restaurant success. - able to work safely to avoid hazards such as cuts, slipping, tripping, falls, and burns
Job Duties
- Maintain Culver's sanitation and food safety practices consistently
- check over restaurant from previous close to ensure a safe and secure environment
- coordinate job duties around other opening team members to ensure efficient preparation for opening
- complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks timely and accurately
- maintain the appearance of the building exterior and grounds including landscaping
- follow company safety standards and look out for safety of team members and guests
- put food orders away accurately and rotate stock using First In-First Out method
- take temperatures of required foods upon delivery accurately and provide documentation
- maintain basic working knowledge of all restaurant equipment and complete scheduled maintenance
- complete duties daily by 10:30 AM to be ready for lunch shift
- report possible incomplete closing areas to manager on duty
- complete other miscellaneous tasks assigned by manager on duty
