The Part-Time Porter role at Carlock Automotive Group is an integral support position designed to assist Sales Consultants through essential preparatory and maintenance tasks, enabling a smooth and effective sales process. While the Porter is not directly responsible for closing sales, their contributions are vital in ensuring vehicles are presentation-ready and readily available for client viewing and test drives. The Porter is entrusted with various responsibilities including preparing demo vehicles, maintaining showroom-ready cleanliness, filling demo and delivery cars with fuel, and transporting vehicles to clients or offsite locations. This role demands a proactive and positive attitude as well as excellent teamwork and customer service skills. The Porter is also involved in regular inventory maintenance, monthly physical inventory counts, and attending relevant department meetings, providing a hands-on experience in vehicle management and dealership operations.

This position requires driving skills, particularly the ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle, and a valid, insurable Driver's License. Candidates often have a high school diploma or GED, complemented by one to two years of related experience or equivalent education and practical experience mix.
