The company proudly manages a diverse portfolio that includes multifamily properties, single-family home rentals, affordable housing, build-to-rent communities, active adult living, and student housing. Asset Living’s commitment to excellence and innovation drives its growth and success, making it a preferred employer and a valued partner in the real estate industry. Its culture emphasizes collaboration, leadership, and continuous improvement with a guiding philosophy of 'Together We Lead, Together We Succeed.' This inclusive and dynamic company embraces diversity and fosters an environment where every employee’s voice is heard, and growth opportunities abound.
The Porter role at Asset Living is a vital position focused on ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of property grounds and facilities. This role supports the maintenance processes through corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic work, contributing directly to the overall operational excellence of the property. The Porter works under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, assisting in the make-ready process for units and common areas. Responsibilities include handling daily cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance tasks across the property’s buildings, breezeways, and common areas. This position requires a reliable and proactive individual capable of responding promptly to resident and management requests, prioritizing safety, and maintaining OSHA standards. The Porter is also responsible for inspecting the property regularly to identify and address potential hazards, thus supporting a safe and pleasant community environment.
Asset Living offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22 to $24 per hour for this full-time position, along with a comprehensive total rewards package. Employees benefit from medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance plans, a 401K plan with employer matching, paid sick days, company holidays, and performance-based bonuses when applicable.
