The Customer Service Attendant role at TravelCenters of America is a pivotal position responsible for ensuring that facilities are maintained in a clean, sanitary, and welcoming condition in accordance with company standards. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in janitorial or customer service roles preferred
  • ability to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, bend, crouch, crawl, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to understand and follow safety guidelines
  • flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • working knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays
  • a dedicated individual who works well with others

Job Duties

  • Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service
  • clean all areas of the facility as directed and provide guests with a clean, sanitary environment
  • know and follow all safety and security guidelines and procedures
  • alert to and report potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and guests
  • wear and use protective equipment properly and safely
  • know quantities and types of cleaning supplies used for each cleaning assignment
  • perform other job-related duties as assigned
