This job opening is for the position of Bellman within a residential management company that operates high-rise apartment buildings. The Bellman position centers around managing all aspects of package processing in high-rise residential buildings. The Bellman must also manage the organization and safety of the package storage area while documenting all custody transfers meticulously from receipt to delivery. This role requires the ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project needs and respond promptly in emergency situations. Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Carry out the day-to-day tasks
  • Ensure that residents receive their packages on time and without damage
  • Develop, implement, and communicate packing and delivery strategies to streamline work
  • Receive and process all types of packages and deliveries maintaining a flawless package management system
  • Sort and track packages from receipt by the building to receipt by addressee/package owner
  • Document custody transfers from receipt to delivery
  • Organize package storage area for efficiency and safety
  • Communicate effectively with team members and residents to resolve issues related to package delivery or non-receipt
  • Safely perform physically demanding tasks including pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting packages
  • Handle packages with care, avoiding drops or abrupt movements that might cause damage or injury
