As a part of The Boyd Group, one of North America’s largest operators of collision repair centers, Gerber Collision & Glass prides itself on fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace where unique talents and diverse backgrounds are valued and nurtured. The company is committed to integrity, collaboration, and innovation, creating an environment where employees are empowered to succeed and grow in their careers.
The Porter role at Gerber Collision & Glass is an essential position that supports the repair process by ensuring vehicles are delivered to customers in pristine condition. This role involves detailed cleaning and maintenance of both customer vehicles and company facilities, helping to uphold the company’s high standards of quality service and customer experience. Porters are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the workspace, which includes the production area, office interiors, and surrounding grounds. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, pay close attention to detail, and take pride in contributing to a smooth and efficient repair process.
The role requires the ability to multitask efficiently, a strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within the company. Automotive experience is preferred but not mandatory, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to start or advance their career in the automotive repair industry. Additionally, the Porter must be capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting, walking, and operating a motor vehicle. Gerber Collision & Glass provides a supportive work environment, with comprehensive training and resources to help team members excel.
This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $15 to $20, depending on the candidate’s experience, education, and skills. Gerber Collision & Glass also provides a competitive benefits package that includes paid time off, parental leave, medical and dental insurance, 401(k) retirement plans with company match, disability and life insurance coverage, and educational opportunities. The company is deeply committed to diversity and inclusivity, encouraging qualified candidates from all backgrounds, including those with disabilities and protected veterans, to apply.
Joining Gerber Collision & Glass means becoming part of a team that is built with intent and driven by individual success. The company’s WOW Operating Way ensures a culture focused on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a work environment that supports each employee’s professional journey. Porters play a vital role in this mission by ensuring that every vehicle leaving the facility meets the company’s standards of excellence and that the workplace remains safe, clean, and organized. If you are ready to contribute your skills to a leading company in automotive repair, Gerber Collision & Glass invites you to apply and take the next step in your career.
