This opportunity is with a reputable automobile dealership known for its commitment to excellent customer service and high-quality vehicle maintenance. The dealership specializes in providing a wide range of new and used vehicles to customers, alongside a dedicated service department aimed at keeping vehicles in top shape. The position requires a combination of excellent customer service skills and practical hands-on tasks such as vehicle detailing, lot maintenance, and assisting the service department. This balance ensures the candidate plays a vital role in both enhancing the customer experience through shuttle and assistance duties and maintaining the dealership’s physical presentation through cleaning, organizing, and inventory management.
The successful candidate will be tasked with shuttling guests or customers when necessary, serving as a helpful guide by addressing inquiries and directing individuals to the appropriate personnel. The role demands keen attention to detail in washing and detailing all customer and service vehicles, ensuring that each vehicle meets showroom quality standards. In addition, picking up and delivering parts and vehicles as required supports the dealership’s operational flow. Maintaining the vehicle inventory and organizing the service lot are central to the job, as is preserving the cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle lot, including snow and debris removal and light janitorial duties.
Assisting the service department with tagging customer keys and vehicles, as well as monitoring gas levels and starting vehicles regularly, are critical tasks that contribute to the efficient service and readiness of the vehicles. The comprehensive range of duties requires a proactive attitude, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
