The Porter position at Asset Living is an essential role that supports the maintenance and upkeep of property communities. Responsible for corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance, the Porter plays a crucial role in ensuring properties are maintained to the highest standards. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, the Porter facilitates the make-ready process, ensuring units and community spaces are prepared promptly and efficiently. This role requires regular on-site attendance and involves diverse duties including cleaning, trash removal, general maintenance of grounds and buildings, inspecting properties to identify hazards, and responding promptly to resident and management requests. Asset Living places a strong emphasis on safety, adherence to company policies, and maintaining a well-organized maintenance environment, all integral to the Porter’s responsibilities. This position demands physical readiness as it includes tasks such as moving heavy objects, working in various environmental conditions, and occasional emergency response duties.
