Currently, Allegiance is hiring for the position of 2nd Shift Porter, working from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, in an industrial facility setting. This role is pivotal in maintaining a clean and safe environment for the facility by performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks. The 2nd Shift Porter is responsible for sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning all necessary surfaces to ensure a pristine workplace. The role also encompasses gathering and emptying trash, servicing restrooms, mixing cleaning agents according to specifications, moving heavy equipment or furniture, and identifying areas requiring repairs. Additional duties may include floor maintenance tasks such as steam cleaning carpets, applying wax, and buffing floors.

This position requires physical stamina and dexterity, the ability to recognize safety hazards and communicate them effectively to the appropriate staff, and a commitment to following schedules and supervisory directions.
