The current opening is for a Porter in the Service Department, reporting directly to the Service Manager. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless customer service experience by efficiently handling tasks related to the movement and care of vehicles, as well as managing driveway traffic and customer greeting responsibilities. Porters at Price Simms are at the forefront of the customer experience, often being the first point of contact when customers visit the dealership. The role includes parking customer vehicles safely, coordinating driveway flow to maintain order and efficiency, carrying out car washes to maintain the showroom standards, and occasionally providing shuttle services for customers. Beyond these core responsibilities, the position may involve various miscellaneous duties that support the overall operations of the Service Department.
