The Porter role at Legends Global plays a critical role in maintaining venue operations with a focus on product delivery, stocking, and cleanliness. This position is essential in ensuring that venues are well-stocked with necessary supplies and that all operational areas adhere to rigorous cleanliness and safety standards. The Porter is responsible for washing china, glass, and silverware, cleaning cooking equipment, and maintaining floor cleanliness in kitchen and office spaces. Additionally, the role includes assisting in the setup and breakdown of events, monitoring inventory and supply stock levels, and supporting delivery management. This position requires a dependable individual who can maintain a safe and orderly work environment, practice safe work habits, and deliver high-quality service throughout venue events. The Porter must exhibit a flexible schedule compatible with extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in varied weather conditions. This position encourages teamwork, strong communication skills, safety compliance, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- must be punctual and dependable
- must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance
- ability to read, speak and write English
- ability to work all venue events and a flexible schedule including extended hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- sufficient mobility for assigned tasks including standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling
- ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
- ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred
- ability to effectively listen and take direction from management
- ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- practice safe work habits
- follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training

- sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
- ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred
- ability to effectively listen and take direction from management
- ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations
- completion of company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training
Job Duties
- Washes all china, glass, and silverware
- cleans all equipment, pots, and pans pre, during, and post-event
- stores all equipment in proper locations
- sweeps and mops all floors in the kitchen and office areas
- maintains a clean and safe working environment
- practices safe work habits, follows all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
- completes company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training
- transports food and equipment throughout the venue as needed
- monitors cleaning supply stock levels per venue needs
- ensures that assigned areas are kept clean and orderly
- performs and assists with routine inventory on a daily basis of all required stock per area of responsibility
- ensures that requisitions are delivered in a timely manner
- assists with deliveries and stocking storeroom and side stations
- assists members in a timely, efficient and professional manner
- fulfills the assigned opening and closing duties as assigned by the Chef
- performs other duties as assigned by management
