As a Crunch Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our fitness facility, ensuring the club is a safe and inviting space for all members. Your duties will include cleaning and dusting various parts of the club, such as walls, mirrors, equipment, and floors in locker rooms, weight and cardio areas, hallways, and more. You will also be responsible for restocking supplies, emptying garbage and recycling containers, and reporting maintenance issues or member concerns to the General Manager. This role requires someone who is meticulous, reliable, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, contributing to the overall positive experience of our members. You will work closely with the Facilities Team and have daily interactions with club management, team members, and gym members. This position suits individuals who take pride in their work, have strong attention to detail, and are eager to be an integral part of a community-focused fitness organization.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- six months of janitorial experience
- knowledge of cleaning practices and procedures
- ability to understand and follow written instructions

- physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 45 pounds
- ability to use cleaning chemicals and tools safely

Job Duties
- Clean and dust walls, mirrors, countertops, glass, and windows
- sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout all club areas including locker rooms, weight area, cardio, front desk, hallways, and stairs
- clean and dust all weight and cardio equipment
- clean all gym areas with special attention to locker rooms, drinking fountains, and high traffic areas such as the HIIT Zone
- restock supplies
- empty garbage and recycling containers
- complete daily and weekly scope of work as assigned
- perform special cleaning projects as assigned
- partner with Facility Technician to perform cleaning duties on equipment as outlined in preventative maintenance guide
- assist Facility Team with basic repairs, moving equipment, and keeping work areas clean and organized
- use all janitorial supplies in accordance with product labels and club manuals
- report all newly identified facility maintenance issues
- report any member complaints to the General Manager
