This role requires an individual who embodies enthusiasm, adaptability, and a strong sense of responsibility towards maintaining community spaces. The porter plays a crucial role in supporting community values and vision by ensuring that the amenities and common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The position involves diverse responsibilities such as routine cleaning, light maintenance, and assisting with community events. This role also demands frequent interaction with residents, colleagues, and vendors, requiring excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor. With a salary range of $19.23 to $21.20 per hour for up to 40 hours per week, the Porter position offers competitive pay alongside benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off. The porter must be comfortable working a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and some holidays, and possess the physical capability to perform duties that involve outdoor work and manual labor. Additionally, the successful candidate will be someone who values teamwork, is bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required), and has some experience with janitorial tasks and basic repairs. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to work in a team environment and on multiple projects simultaneously
- Entry-level experience in painting, janitorial work and knowledge of basic tools
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and some holidays
- Must be able to provide own transportation
- must have a current drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Must be able to move/lift at least thirty (30) pounds
- Ability to stay on feet for long periods of time and work outdoors for extended periods of time, sometimes in inclement or hot weather
- Physically able to complete the execution of duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- College coursework and/or skill-based technical training is highly desired
- Ability to work in a team environment and on multiple projects simultaneously
- Entry-level experience in painting, janitorial work and knowledge of basic tools
- Good verbal, written and personal communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is helpful

Job Duties
- Maintain the community appearance by visiting the community common areas, including but not limited to the parks and trails on a frequent basis
- Responsible for daily cleaning of the amenities and offices as assigned
- Assist with upkeep and perform light maintenance in the amenities and throughout the community
- Safely operate small hand tools and mechanical equipment such as blowers and pressure washers
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance duties such as, but not limited to pressure washing, painting and trash removal
- Participate in day-to-day community operations
- Participate in risk management, emergency procedures, and safety programs
- Assist with setup and takedown of community events when needed
- Work with the Facilities team on projects and assignments as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned
