Asset Living is a respected third-party property management firm that has been fostering thriving communities nationwide since its founding in 1986. With decades of experience, the company has evolved from a small property management firm into one of the most trusted partners in the real estate industry. Asset Living manages a diverse portfolio encompassing multifamily residences, single-family home rentals, affordable housing, build-to-rent projects, active adult communities, and student housing. This extensive reach demonstrates the company's commitment to delivering exceptional value to its partners and residents alike.

Asset Living is recognized for its innovative culture and dedication to collaboration, embodied in its core belief that 'Together We Lead, Together We Succeed.' The company fosters an environment where every voice matters, every idea is appreciated, and every individual has opportunities for personal and professional growth. Known as one of the nation's Best and Brightest Places to Work and ranked among the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) top 50 professionals, Asset Living continues to lead the industry through a steadfast commitment to excellence, workplace culture, and meaningful growth opportunities. Asset Living is an Accredited Management Organization (AMO) and a member of The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), further attesting to its leadership and expertise in property management.

The role of Porter at Asset Living is integral to maintaining the quality and safety of the communities under its care. The Porter supports the property's maintenance operations by assisting with preventative, corrective, routine, and cosmetic maintenance duties. This position plays a key role in the make-ready process for units, ensuring that properties meet operational standards and are welcoming for residents. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, the Porter contributes to an environment that prioritizes safety, cleanliness, and exceptional resident service.

This full-time position has a salary of $15 per hour and involves responsibilities such as cleaning, trash removal, grounds and building maintenance, and responding to resident and management requests efficiently. The Porter inspects community grounds and facilities daily to identify and address any hazardous conditions, helps maintain a preventative maintenance program, and strictly follows Asset Living's policies and safety guidelines. This role requires working closely with other team members to promote safe work practices and maintain organized, well-stocked maintenance areas.

Physical demands include frequent movement across various terrains, lifting objects weighing over 100 pounds, operating machinery, and working in different environmental conditions. The Porter must be ready to respond to emergencies, including on-call situations during nights, weekends, and holidays. This demanding role requires a commitment to excellent customer service, with the Porter acting as a positive representative of the community to residents and visitors alike.

Asset Living offers a comprehensive total rewards package to its employees, including medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, commission and performance bonuses when applicable, paid sick days, and company holidays. The company values its employees' contributions and invests in their professional development and well-being.
