Known for their exceptional commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, Gerber Collision & Glass operates with an elite infrastructure that supports a culture of excellence and high performance. As part of The Boyd Group, one of North America’s largest and fastest-growing collision repair companies, Gerber Collision & Glass is deeply committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce. Their promise to unique talents from all backgrounds highlights their dedication to integrity, respect, and the promotion of a supportive working environment. The company embraces diversity and actively encourages applications from individuals with disabilities and protected veterans, underlining their inclusive hiring philosophy.

Gerber Collision & Glass focuses not only on delivering outstanding repair services but also on creating career growth opportunities for their employees. With a work environment built with intent and driven by their people, employees are provided with the resources, mentorship, and team support needed to excel and grow within the company. This collaborative atmosphere ensures that each team member is equipped to outperform expectations at every stage from vehicle intake to the final delivery.

The role of Porter at Gerber Collision & Glass is integral to maintaining the quality standard and customer experience the company is renowned for. As a Porter, you will play a key part in supporting the collision and glass repair teams by preparing vehicles for service, ensuring clean and safe working environments, and managing customer vehicle presentation. Although the Porter position may appear straightforward, it is essential for supporting the operational flow and showcasing the company’s WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan commitments.

Porters are required to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization both inside the shop and office areas, including daily housekeeping activities like emptying garbage, cleaning floors, dusting surfaces, and properly storing tools and equipment. Additionally, Porters are responsible for the pre-washing and post-repair cleaning of customer vehicles, helping to deliver a polished, professional appearance upon handover. Transporting vehicles to sublet locations for specialized repairs is another vital duty ensuring smooth coordination within repair operations.

Gerber Collision & Glass offers this role as a growth opportunity within a company that values positive attitudes, attention to safety, and reliability. While no immediate hiring may be taking place, Gerber Collision & Glass encourages interested candidates to apply and join their talent community for future openings.
