As an organization, Eurest embraces an ownership mindset while leveraging global resources and maintaining a local presence to enrich communities. The company’s core promise revolves around connecting with people, inspiring through food, creating innovative solutions, and living these commitments every day. Recognized for its dedication to diversity, inclusion, and employee support, Eurest offers a dynamic and rewarding work environment for individuals passionate about foodservice and customer satisfaction.
The position available is for a full-time Porter at the Intel RR5 location in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. This role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm and offers a competitive wage ranging from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour. This position is pivotal in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within the dining area, ensuring an inviting and orderly environment for guests and staff alike. The role requires direct hands-on tasks such as bussing tables, cleaning floors, washing dishes, and handling deliveries, while strictly adhering to safety and sanitation protocols. Prior experience in restaurant, kitchen, or back-of-house roles is preferred to enhance efficiency and performance in this position. Employees in this role are expected to participate actively in maintaining high standards of safety, sanitation, and presentation to support smooth daily operations.
The Porter is crucial to facilitating excellent foodservice by ensuring all front-of-house areas like tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations are clean and well-maintained. This requires consistent communication with kitchen staff and management to coordinate dish transport, uphold temperature controls, and support meal service flow. In addition to operational duties, the Porter demonstrates a personal commitment to workplace safety by using appropriate protective equipment such as cut gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes. This attention to safety also extends to proper lifting techniques and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Candidates joining Eurest will benefit from an extensive range of offerings designed to promote health, wellness, and financial security. Benefits for full-time employees include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, retirement plans, and access to various voluntary benefits like accident and critical illness insurance. Further programs support employee well-being through legal services, identity theft protection, pet insurance, commuter benefits, and flexible spending accounts. Eurest fosters a supportive culture that values continuous opportunity for growth, competitive compensation, and inclusive hiring practices. By becoming a part of Eurest, employees contribute to an industry leader committed to high-quality foodservice in a respectful and engaging workplace.
Eurest prioritizes a drug-free and safe workplace, and its hiring process supports equal opportunity employment, welcoming applicants of diverse backgrounds. The company respects the abilities and achievements of all individuals without discrimination and offers reasonable accommodations when needed. The hiring process includes ongoing application acceptance until all positions are filled, with candidates encouraged to reapply if initially declined. This position demands reliability, teamwork, a positive attitude, and dedication to maintaining the high standards that define Eurest's global reputation.
