Job Requirements
- high school diploma ged or trade technical or vocational training
- some related experience is helpful equivalent practical experience is welcome
- ability to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods
- ability to ascend and descend stairs ladders and step stools
- ability to lift carry push pull or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- ability to operate standard office and cleaning equipment as needed
Job Qualifications
- knowledge of the safe use of cleaning agents and equipment
- ability to follow directions manage tasks independently and complete work on time
- strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
- willingness to follow all company safety policies and procedures
- prior experience cleaning multifamily residential or commercial buildings is helpful but not required
Job Duties
- clean and maintain property common areas including lobbies hallways stairwells elevators laundry rooms restrooms offices and model units on a defined schedule
- clean vacant apartment units in preparation for marketing showings and occupancy
- ensure business offices and shared spaces are clean organized and professional in appearance
- maintain the overall exterior appearance of the property including sidewalks driveways parking areas dumpster enclosures exterior hallways and public spaces
- perform routine trash and debris removal throughout the community
- support seasonal upkeep including snow removal and basic landscaping tasks as needed
- report maintenance issues safety concerns or hazards promptly to the maintenance supervisor or maintenance staff
- assist with inventory control of cleaning supplies and equipment
- support maintenance and operations teams with additional tasks as assigned
- follow all safety procedures and proper use of cleaning agents tools and equipment
- address resident questions or concerns in a friendly professional manner
- maintain a high standard of customer service while working in resident-facing areas
