With decades of experience under its belt, the company manages a vast portfolio that includes multifamily residences, single-family home rentals, affordable housing, build-to-rent communities, active adult living, and student housing. This diversity in property types enables Asset Living to offer comprehensive management solutions tailored to various community needs and client goals.

The company values the unique talents and backgrounds of its team members, which drive continuous improvement and outstanding results for both clients and residents. Additionally, Asset Living is accredited by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) as an Accredited Management Organization (AMO), underscoring its commitment to excellence and professionalism in property management.

The Porter role at Asset Living is a vital position responsible for assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of residential communities under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. This full-time, hourly position offers a competitive salary range of $17 to $19 per hour. Porters play a critical role in ensuring that the community remains clean, safe, and visually appealing for residents and visitors alike. Their responsibilities encompass a broad range of maintenance tasks including routine cleaning, trash removal, corrective and cosmetic repairs, and general upkeep of both interior and exterior common areas.

In this role, the Porter performs daily inspections of the community grounds, buildings, and amenities to identify hazards or maintenance concerns and promptly address them to minimize liability and enhance the living environment. The position also supports preventative maintenance programs designed to extend the life of community assets and reduce the need for future repairs. Additionally, Porters are required to maintain adherence to safety standards and OSHA guidelines, helping promote safe work practices throughout the community.

Porters are also expected to provide exceptional customer service, responding efficiently to resident and management requests for maintenance support, and helping enforce community policies to maintain a harmonious living atmosphere. The role includes participation in unit inspections as needed and involvement in on-call emergency response duties during off-hours. Asset Living offers a robust benefits package for its full-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, paid sick days, company holidays, and potential performance bonuses.

Joining Asset Living as a Porter means contributing to an energetic and diverse team dedicated to creating safe, well-maintained, and attractive communities where residents feel valued and at home. It is a role suited for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic, basic technical skills, and a commitment to upholding Asset Living's standards of excellence in property management and customer service.
