The company is offering a full-time position for an experienced Porter/Groundskeeper at Aspen Hill Apartments, a 202-unit residential community located in Silver Spring, MD. This role is crucial in maintaining both the aesthetics and functionality of the property, contributing directly to resident satisfaction and safety. The Porter/Groundskeeper will be responsible for creating a safe and inviting environment for residents, visitors, and employees by ensuring that the grounds and public areas are maintained to the highest standards. This includes regular upkeep of flower beds, shrubbery, sidewalks, parking lots, fencing, and trash enclosures, maximizing the curb appeal and enhancing the overall community ambiance.

Beyond outdoor maintenance, the role extends to interior custodial duties including cleaning and safety oversight in lobbies, hallways, restrooms, stairwells, elevators, community rooms, fitness centers, and other resident common areas. The Porter/Groundskeeper will also assist with equipment maintenance and manage waste removal, including bulk trash removal as directed. This position demands multitasking capabilities, professionalism, and effective communication skills to coordinate with co-workers, management, and residents. Physical stamina is necessary due to the requirement to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
