The property known as Explore South Ridge - West is looking to add a Porter to their team. This role offers hourly compensation ranging from $20 to $21 per hour and is positioned to play a vital part in the property management realm. The Porter’s core responsibility revolves around maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation throughout the property to create an inviting and appealing atmosphere for current and potential residents as well as clients. The Porter will be accountable for the comprehensive care of the grounds including common areas, building exteriors, leasing offices, tour paths, and parking lots. Essential daily tasks include the removal of trash and debris, cleaning of available units and common spaces, pressure washing exterior surfaces, and assisting in preparation to make units market ready.

The position extends to managing emergency situations, particularly those related to inclement weather such as snow removal. The Porter must be capable of operating necessary equipment like commercial snow blowers and ice melt applications to address weather impacts promptly. A key facet of this role is customer service, where the Porter must interact courteously and professionally with residents, applicants, and visitors, aiming to promote community satisfaction and uphold the property’s marketing appeal. Job Duties

  • Remove trash and other debris from office areas and property perimeter on a daily basis
  • Assist in the preparation of market ready units
  • Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc.
  • Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and/or other inclement weather emergencies, fires, and floods
  • Clean available apartments and/or model homes and common areas of the community, as directed
  • Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather conditions
  • Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents always
  • Preserve and respect applicant and resident confidentiality
  • Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, other properties and associated agencies
  • Clearly and immediately report any maintenance and/or life safety issues identified while performing regular assigned duties
  • Other duties as assigned
