At the St. Louis site, Par Health is seeking a dedicated Janitorial Service professional to maintain cleanliness and safety in industrial and chemical areas, specifically focusing on restrooms, locker rooms, and breakroom spaces. This role is vital in supporting a healthy and compliant work environment by ensuring that all areas are hygienically maintained following regulatory and corporate standards. The janitorial staff will be responsible for standard cleaning practices including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash disposal, and general housekeeping tasks tailored to an industrial and chemical setting.

The janitorial role at Par Health demands attention to detail and compliance with rigorous safety and environmental guidelines, including the correct handling and mixing of cleaning solutions per manufacturer instructions. Candidates will be expected to manage inventory stocks of towels, coveralls, paper products, and cleaning supplies and demonstrate strong organizational skills to ensure adequate supplies are always available. Safety is a major focus of this position, and employees must participate in mandatory training and strictly adhere to all plant safety policies and government regulations.

This position requires a candidate who is physically capable of handling the demands of the role, including the ability to carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and able to work efficiently in an industrial and chemical environment. The role offers a competitive wage of $29.79 per hour, reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise required.

Ideal candidates bring at least one year of janitorial experience in an industrial setting, with a minimum of three years' experience or education in chemical and/or pharmaceutical operations considered highly advantageous. Basic math skills, the ability to read and write English, and strong teamwork skills within a unionized environment are essential for success. Self-motivation and the ability to follow simple directions are also critical qualities.
