Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience in janitorial, maintenance or porter roles advantageous
basic understanding of safety and security protocols
ability to operate cleaning equipment and handle maintenance tools
good communication skills in English
ability to work effectively in a team environment
strong work ethic and dependable nature
physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks

Job Duties

Possess technical skills needed to fulfill job duties
establish and maintain professional standard of conduct and appearance at all times
maintain safety and security and notify proper staff in case of incidents
set up room functions including moving tables, chairs, and media aids as required
clean floors using vacuums, mops, brushes or other methods
take out pool trash daily before 8AM
perform pool cleaning as required seasonally
shampoo carpets as per schedule
strip and wax hard surface floors as scheduled
set up audio visual equipment as required
wash bar mats weekly
power wash building as directed
clean patio chairs daily during pool season
paint structures inside and outside as directed
repair mechanical and electrical devices under supervision
identify and replace burned out light bulbs
use safe working skills and seek clarification before starting new tasks
perform other associated porter duties as directed
