Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of Porter or equivalent experience
- Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM
- Capability to perform physical labor including lifting and standing for long periods
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to respond to emergencies and be onsite as needed
- Strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate, GED or trade school diploma
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Porter or in an equivalent role
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and cleaning procedures
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment
- Familiarity with safety and emergency protocols
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
Job Duties
- Maintains air conditioners by cleaning filters and condensers monthly
- Checks smoke detectors, emergency lights, and locks on fire exits monthly to ensure they are safe and operational
- Change fuses, light bulbs, and ceiling tiles when required
- Unclogs drains, toilets, and sinks
- Uses a meter to measure UV lighting
- Assists in conducting fire drills
- Sets up chairs, podium, TV/VCR, microphone, and overhead projectors upon request
