The Porter role at Walk-On's is a critical part-time, non-exempt position reporting directly to the Manager on Duty. Serving as the unsung MVPs behind the scenes, Porters are responsible for keeping the restaurant clean, safe, and energized for game day. This role requires a detail-oriented and hardworking individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Porters ensure that all spaces within the restaurant and the surrounding grounds remain spotless by performing cleaning duties such as sanitizing, emptying trash, picking up litter, and maintaining floors, windows, furniture, and drapes. They may also assist with light maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and minor repairs.

Additionally, Porters support limited grounds maintenance activities, such as mowing, trimming, and clearing sidewalks while maintaining the stock of heating, cooling, and cleaning supplies to keep operations running smoothly. The position demands physical capability, including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and the safe operation of basic tools and equipment.
